New City Man Sexually Abused Minor Under 13 For Three Years, Police Say

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A New City man is in jail without bail after being arrested for sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13 over a three-year period, said the South Nyack-Grand View Police Department.

David A. Storch, 60, who was arrested on Friday, is alleged to have committed the crimes in South Nyack between Jun. 2008 and Dec. 2011, Chief Brent Newbury said. 

Storch was charged with felony predatory sexual assault against a child, and felony course of sexual conduct against a child, Newbury said.

Storch was arraigned in South Nyack Justice Court and remanded to the Rockland County Jail without bail. 

The Rockland County Intelligence Unit and the Rockland County District Attorney’s Special Victims Unit assisted with the investigation.
